Subject: cycle computer question
how accurate are the cycle computers cause i took my bike out on the bike path today and after it start to finish it read that i rode 12.8 when the bike path is only 6.4 is it just common knowledge to divide the distance in half or is something wrong with my computer.

Unless your rode 6.4 miles there and 6.4 miles back it should say 6.4 miles, not 12.8.

Check the settings you have for your tires circumference.

I think i got it fixed and your were right it was that the tire circumance was off i reset my computer and took it for a quick ride and then drove it in the car to see if it was close and it was perfect. must of bump it up a # when i sat it up earlier today. thanks for the help
