Subject: IronMan Registration Fee Refund Question

Hi all,

A friend of mine is registered to the Panama City Ironman this year, but now he don't want to do the race because he doesn't have anybody to go with.  On the Ironman website it says that they refund you $150 of the registration fee.

Anybody know any way to get a full refund, a 50% refund or how to transfer the registrstion to somebody else, for this year or the next one?

Any reply will be apreciated.

I think the $150 refund is the only option. There are absolutely no transfers, and IMNA is pretty strict about their refund policy. If your friend has some extenuating circumstance (sob story), tell him/her to write the Race Director. You never know...

tell your friend to join BT. There are at least 20 of us signed up to do the race and that way he will not be alone!

Yeah, but what if BT disappears again like it did this morning... then we will ALL be alone!! . .
