Hello from Egypt

Hi there. First thank you for the great site. It has been an incredible help. My wife an I are Canadian, but teaching in Egypt. We have both been very involved in team sports(hockey, basketball, volleyball) and until recently were very active. We found ourselves in Egypt, not very active and starting to show some signs of ageing. We decided we better get re-committed to being in shape. We did the Pyramids Run (8km), and the 12.5 km event at the Egyptian Marathon in Feb. We are running a 1/2 marathon in Norway in June and have registered for an Olympic Tri in Canada in July. The training has been going great and we love the BT site. Our distance is getting up there (3km in the pool, 60km bike, and just ran 20km). We are not going to set any records, but our times are decent and we are having a blast. Our teaching load is light and we have all we need to train right at our school, so not only are we having a blast, but we're getting paid to train!!
