Subject: Escape from Ft DeSoto

okay, it's a pain, crazy swim, long T1 run, windy bike, run up the stairs, over the top of the fort, down the stairs, on the beach, and back on the sidewalk.

This year it is April 15th, which gives you a full weekend before St Anthony's.  I didn't do it last year because it was the weekend before. 

Sue, I know you ain't gonna do this one.  Anyone else gonna?  I'm contemplating. 

It's the 20th anniversary, so it's "Triathlon XX".  

60 bucks. expensive sprint if ya ask me.

I have been contemplating the same thing for a while.
I would like to have a tune up before st. ants but I would like a little more time in between and not have to mess with those stairs.

I'm contemplating also. Want some kind of tune-up before SAs to judge my conditioning under true TRI conditions. May do swim at race pace and go easy on the bike and run.
