and Mr. Evrunning too Met at 4 for an early dinner and had a blast! What great people, just like everyone else I've met from BT (Machiavelo, Max, and spouses)

Evelyn and I are doing Danskin together and I can tell it's going to be great!

Gee, maybe we need to organize a "New England get-together" and have a big BBQ or something similar. Better have it on a Saturday so we can spill over into Sunday as it sounds like one day wouldn't be near enough! LOL

Yes indeed you New England folks are simply the greatest. I definitely have to make it there for the Cranberry Triathlon in August. If you are having a BBQ, I'll bring the poutine!

you'll bring the WHAT??? huh?? How come I never know what you're talking about?! LOL

Yes Michel, if you and Agnes make it here, we'll have a HUGE cookout. That's one of Mike's favorite things to do. Evelyn, Max, their families and anyone else who wants to join us.

Poutine.... hmmm.... I haven't had good poutine since I moved from Ottawa.
Poutine is french fries covered with cheese curds/grated cheese and gravy.

I think the general rule of thumb is if you're willing to drive (or fly) there, you're probably invited.

How's that Ellen...I think I just filled up your back yard with strangers!

ok, any BTers who are in the walking, driving, flying, rocket ship distance are invited to the cookout (yes, even college folks from CT and sproglets (?) from NH!). Since we're talking about after the Cranberry tri which is 8/29, mark your calenders now.

We usually do something after each of the local races, so when you see my race on the calender, it's a good bet we're having a cookout

Whats the cranberry tri? Got a link. I have nothing planned that weekend – it’ll be a week after my first tri!!

How far do I need to go? (I’ll have to sell it to the wife – shouldn’t be a problem. I’ll just tell her we are meeting up with a bunch of strangers from the Interweb thingy that think its normal to get up at 4am and exercise or go for 60 mile bike rides). Nothing is strange coming from me anymore!

Ohhhh -- I am so envious!! I would LOVE  to be there -- doing the cranberry, eating cookout food, meeting many of my team mates, and sharing some good stories!!! I am indeed envious. Too far for me to come this year, but maybe you will do it again sometime!!!

All who make it there have fun!!! (a is I have to say that).

thanx for the chuckle Mike. My husband was leary of meeting people from the interweb thingy at first as well, but we've had nothing but great experiences, so he's come around.

Let's see, the Cranberry Tri (http://www.cranberrycountrytri.com) is in Lakeville, Ma., which is about 45 minutes north of me. So come to the race, then come to the cookout

sounds good

I have friends in Attleboro and Middleboro so I'll have no trouble finding it.

I know - its tough to believe that I have friends isn't it!!

Best get to the calender before management signs me up for something else!!

Oh man!!!!! Somebody's having a party and I can't come! I wish I could be there if only to party harty and to cheer you guys on. We'll definitely have to organize one in Colorado for sure! My backyard isn't that big but I live right next to a huge park. So a cookout is primo!Have fun and maybe we can all plan on going for next year! Woo Hoo.Ovetta.
