Subject: newbie look'n for some target times?!?!?!?!?!
Hey Hey-
Well I'm a new guy working out for my first triathlon coming up in a couple months and really searching for someone to help. I'm looking for target times to reach to know where I would stand in a real race. What are standard target times for the swim, bike, and run. How long should the whole thing take? Or any other helpful hints on workouts/times would be amazing. Thanks all!

If you have a race picked out, find last years finishing times online. Look at individuals in your age group. That should give you a good idea of possible target times.

IMHO though the best target time for your first race is to just finish.

Ditto...look up last years times from the event...check out age group results. For your first race I wouldn't worry about your times...just stick to your training plan, go over your checklist and practice your transitions. Good luck...when is the race?
