Subject: Check it out! My first thread

Hello everyone,
I have come to the decision that I would like to try a tri. I fortunately live in a good area for such a crazy idea. Heidelberg Germany has many opportunities to compete. It is unfortunate that I will not be able to hook up with other BTers to train and what not. The good news is that I will be in the Spokane area (I hope) in about a year, so I'll see you then. I'll keep you all posted on what's going on in Germany.

Welcome to BT!

One of the beauties of this site is that you can "hook up" with other BTers almost every day to discuss training (and most anything else)--even though you will never actually meet most of them.

Welcome! Heidelberg is a beautiful place - I visited it back in '89, and would love to go back someday. I'm sure you've got some great scenery when you bike and run! Good luck with your training!
