Not much choice actually

Off to England for a bit – Fly Wednesday, Thursday Gloucestershire, Friday to LiverPool – out with friends, beer, curry. Saturday football, more beer. Sunday to Colchester, more friends and have a guess – more beer! Monday to London for work for a few days then back to NH on Thursday.

The 3 month run in to the triathlons starts in earnest then!

So you lot behave whilst I’m away!!! (as if!)

Mike,
tip a pint of Sam Smith's Nut Brown Ale and let me know how good the real stuff is. The import happens to be fantastic.

Masses of draft.

Top 3 (in reverse order)
3) London Pride (naughty cheeky little beer- nice and light then slaps you from behind like a wet sandbag)
2) Timothy Taylor Landlord. Been my favourite for many years – loads of taste and full bodied yet never one to bite back too hard. Clean as a whistle - alas one pint that was served to me had to be sent back due to its poor quality – a simple mistake but I am unforgive as I switched to another beer that hit the top spot.
1) Adamns Broadside. Bliss in a pint glass. Nectar of the gods. If this was the first prize in the Triathlons than I’m doing then I’d win ever one of them to get at this stuff.

Oh well. A week of partying is over. Curry, beer, friends, family and Football – much of them at the same time.
Back to reality. Out for a short bike ride tonight but it will be with the kids so nothing serious. Long bike ride tomorrow and a swim.
And a full work week as well next week. Yee hah!

Well, welcome back!  All this discussion about beer has made me thirsy. (I'm a Guinness fan myself).  Maybe we should start a beer thread.

Oh yeah...Guinness is the best!  Had it for the first time in Ireland several years ago - it's better from the tap there, but here, the pub can will have to do!  It's still excellent even from the can.

*jumps up and down* Me! Me! I'm a girl who loves Guiness!

But I've never had the opportunity to try one in the homeland *crying*. All export so far for me.
