Subject: Cycling jersey while running????
I'm doing my first sprint tri in 2 weeks and was planning on throwing a cycling jersey on after my swim and then completing the run in it? Is this a bad idea? I read somewhere else someone saying this is not a good idea because the jersey would chaffe?

thanks

I see no problem with that! I plan on using one of my jersey, a sleeveless one, for both cycling and running. I have used it quite extensively for both legs without any chafing. The only difference between the bike jersey and a running jersey is the fact that the back is longer and there are three pockets on the back.

I have used the same top to bike and run I did get some tenderness in my Hmmm. chest area.

But it might have been the specific jersey because I have also done it and had no problem.

just got back from a 6 mile run in a cycling jersey. I think they work just fine.

I think that it depends on the jersey and what the weather is like. I just can't remember what the day was like.

But I sure remember the result ouch..
