Subject: Hi there, this site rocks!

I'm going to do my first tri in August and I'm already nervous. I'm 25 and from Colorado, and I've ALWAYS wanted to do a triathlon. I joined a masters group to get my swimming back in gear - haven't swam since the team in high school. I'm getting faster, but not soon enough! I ask lots of swimming questions because I'm a technique gatherer and I love to know what everyone else is doing. Not really a runner, but I hope to do a half marathon this fall or next fall... then a 1/2 IM, then an ironman!!

Welcome - you will be ready by August - train smart and train patient - fight off the drive to "be there" today or tomorrow. You grow your swim, bike and run just like anything else you grow - with patience and commitment. You will be there guy!
