Subject: NEW Injured/Sick Log Parameter

Based on a recent thread, we have added a Injured/Sick to the health part of the log.  See pic below.  If you leave it empty (or default), it will not log a value of 1-5 (USE THIS IF YOU ARE HEALTHY), if you log a 1-5 value, you will get a RED square in the mini calendar.  A value of '1' would be for the first day your feeling about 100%, then you wouldn't log anything and leave it blank till your sick/injured again.

Sick/injured is selectable in your 'edit training settings ' so that it will show up in your week/month/year reports.  It will also show up as a SI icon in your calendar view.  Performance members get a graph of the sick/injured days.  If you use the 'daily' interval, the days represent the exact logged value.  If you select the weekly or monthly interval, it will display the average magnitude of your injured/sick values over the particular time interval.

*Note, if you see a red square in your log around the 23rd of Feb and didn't log yourself as being sick, please go back in to your log and redo it.  It was our fault during the testing phase that it was actually logging a value for a short period of time.

Another note, RED (or being injured/sick) supersedes all other minicalendar colors.

This is very useful ... of course I hope that no one has to use it too often.

When touching the icon in the calendar view mode, is there any way to see what level (1-5) was chosen?

The hover action should work for that icon now.

It's confusing when I look back on my blog that 1 means healthy/uninjured, but 1 is used for maximum fatigue.  Seems to me they should both be either 1 or 5 (preferably 5) for feeling 100%.

True, but when you use the graphs, to see when you were injured/sick over a time period, I thought the best representation would be to chart when you are sick.

If you look at my injury graph for 2009:

http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/training/training-reports.asp?action=report&memberid=3&start=1%2F1%2F2009&end=12%2F31%2F2009&duration=week&values=sick&hidevalues=0

You will see that it's probably much easier to read (red bars= injury) than if we had feeling 100% or no injury being 5 - as then my graph above would be more confusing as it would be all red bars and the 'valleys' would indicate injury, not the peak...make sense?  So when we see nothing on the graph, that is good as no injury.

But yes, logging it is somewhat confusing but when it's graphed, it's a lot better represented.
