She made a public statement about it on Friday, 2/24 after having surgery on Wednesday. It sounds like she did not know about it before the breakup. She was going to be doing a show at the Fox on 3/9, but that got postponed. Hopefully she'll be good to go soon.

I read that 1 out of 7 women will get breast cancer. Scary.

Many more woman die of heart disease and other effects. I agree it can be scary, but being healthy is a lot more likely to help you out.

I meant being healthy will help control more likely causes of death in woman. Breast cancer is nothing to shake a stick at, but heart problems kill a lot more woman, and it's great the woman here are doing something great for themselves in that regard.

That's awful that she has breast cancer.  It's so scary to know that anyone can get cancer.  Nobody is exempt.
