Subject: HIM ability woes On Tuesday I go to the ortho to see what is up with my foot. I am praying, hoping, wishing, whatever that it's not as bad as I am thinking it is (I have a tendancy to dig myself 6 feet deep before I really know what's going to happen ) and trying not to play doctor without a degree. I am scared that it is associated with lisfranc and from what I have been reading I see the word surgery come up often. However I don't think it is severe enough for surgery. My question is, would it still be possible to have somewhat of a strong HIM in June? If possible I will mostlikely replace all my running with riding my bike until I am cleared to pound the pavement. How much will this affect my running? Is the HIM distance long enough to have a strong bike but a somewhat weak run and not get whipped at the end? HELP! |
