Subject: Prairie Lif Indoor Triathlon
Anyone here do it? I'm not entered, but I'm planning to go Saturday morning (7:30am) to observe. Hope to get some inspiration from the early birds who are already ready for a tri on March 4th!

Yes, I did it today at 9am. It was fun! I've never heard or took part in an indoor one before but it was easy (no bike racks, helmets, change of shoes) and I would do it again. The people were wonderful and I love the gym. It did show me that I have a lot of work to do before MIM. I'm not up to speed, especially on the run!!!

 I'm always up for a training ride!

I didn't know the whole thing was indoors. So they did the bike and run on spin machines and treadmills?

Yes, everything was indoor. Pool swim then jump on stationary bike then treadmill. If you go, don't forget your headphones!!

I didn't make it to watch the Triathlon, but after a lot of deliberation I decided to join Prairie Life instead of the Schilling YMCA or the Germantown Center.

Anyone else a member there? They have a March special where you get a discount off the sign-up fee $100 instead of $150 and three free personal trainer sessions.

I worked with a trainer today for the first time ever. I learned a lot about using the machines and felt a lot more motivated with her standing over me and counting out how many reps to go!
