miche033 - 2006-03-13 3:35 PM I was *trying* to say, Let's go for equal or less than 196 next week!

You have a deal. This weekend really, really ate it big time (quite literally). I celebrate everything with food (hence my weight issues...) and I ATE way too much. next weekend is another mine field. My personal trainer is getting married. Since I was instrumental in him proposing, I MUST be at the wedding. I just know there will be too much food and NO time to workout

We will get past this together!!

STARTING WEIGHT: 153 lbs
LAST WEEK: 148 lbs
THIS WEEK: 147 lbs
WEIGHT LOST THIS WEEK: 1 lbs

TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS FOR CHALLENGE: 6 lbs

GOAL WEIGHT FOR THE CHALLENGE (March 31st) - 145 lbs
TOTAL WEIGHT TO LOSE: 8 lbs
LEFT TO LOSE: 2 lbs

Oops.  Sorry, late entry.  Weighed myself on Sunday and then totally forgot to enter the numbers.  Keep losing that same damn pound over and over.

Kept a closer eye on my eating, particularly during commutes and made sure I drank more water (which had slipped lately).  If I buy snacks I try to make sure it's from the fruit stand at the RR station, either fresh or dried fruit or mixed nuts.  I need a new water bottle as the one I've been using has developed that musty funky smell.  Unless any of you have tips on how to clean it out?  No dishwasher, so it'll have to be done by hand.

Added some more weight training/yoga/stretching too.

You could always rince it out with a dilute bleach solution. That'll kill everything in there. BUT make sure you rince it out very well, and then leave it sit for about a week before using it, which means you'd probably need a new waterbottle anyway. I usually only do this for the more expensive types of bottles (ie nalgene) as I can't justify throwing away a decent overpriced bottle when an oz of bleach, 2 minutes of cleaning and just letting it sit a week would fix it up. I don't know if that would work well on the softer types of plastic that you see in the bottles that fit in bike cages.

I'm still here! Still not too active with this ankle that doesn't want to heal up, so I'm still sticking around 160... hope I can still make my goal by the end of the month!
