Well as a full out geek I am wearing a shirt that says got pi? on the front.  On the back it says do you know pi followed by the first 500 digits and at the bottom giddy up.  We even have pie olympics planned for today (I am a teacher for those of you who are creeped out).

Today is also Albert Einstein's birthday!

Enjoy pi day, eat a pi(e), watch the movie pi, sing a song at pi hour this afternoon! Order a square pizza pi from pizza hut and say pi(r)^2.

Being the Geeky Engineer (term of endearment), I thought everyone might want to know that:

The billionth digit of PI is 9!

Now go forth and share that at all your parties!

Not only do I celebrate pi day and mole day, I've tried to get people to celebrate e day with me in February.  Not as many people get that one.

HAPPY PI DAY EVERYONE!!!!

Our Engineering teacher started this year with some small activities but he hasn't reached to all out party achieved by us in traditional math and science for pi day and mole day.  But I do think he is moving in the right directions for nerds and geeks everywhere.

Always did mole day....mole-shaped cakes, mole-biles etc (dirt was a big thing....that pudding/oreo dish with the gummyworms in it), Never thought much about pi day, but nobody in my high school was geeked out about math.
Just think how much better it'll be in 9 years (3/14/15).

Do you do phi day as well? You could just go on and on with every single constant....how about gravatational constant day? Students could drop apples off buildings in honor of Newton....

we are celebrating pi day here at work, and we have 13 pies to eat and only 15 people in the office.  You do the math. (keeping the pi theme)

HAPPY PI DAY EVERYONE!!!!

Sounds like fun!  I'll have to put that one on my calendar and thank my calculus teacher for beating Euler's number into my head.

Or 22 people, 7 pies.
