Fantastic!!!  Had the first Little League meeting myself last night.  Can't wait for April 1.

Good luck with the game.  Run the picket fence!  Don't get caught watching the paint dry!  Make 'em chuck it from the cheap seats!

I don't have kids yet, but I did coach my little brother's team to the 11-12 year old championship. It was lots of fun. I'm excited for the day that I get to coach my kids' teams. Good luck with that and make sure that you remember to enjoy it!

Thanks for the "Hoosiers" reference, hangloose. I'll probably have to watch that movie tonight in preparation for the start of the NCAA tourney tomorrow!

I got all you can handle my friend.

"MY TEAM IS ON THE FLOOR!" (best line of the flick)

"Because that's what I believe, I can tell you this.  I don't really care if you play or not."

"throw me out."

"My son's got something to say to you coach."  (maybe not a great line, but a great scene.)

Crap, now I'm going to have to rent it.  Thanks a lot.  Oh wait, this is my fault.  Dangnabbit.

Rent it? Rent it? You need to OWN it!

"Let's win this one for all the small schools that never had a chance to get here."

"I got him good, didn't I, coach!"

"Look, mister, there's two kinds of dumb. Uh, guy that gets naked and runs out in the snow and barks at the moon, and, uh, guy who does the same thing in my living room. First one don't matter, the second one you're kinda forced to deal with."

We WON! I am real proud of my boys. They played thir best game of the season and I was able pull my best players w/ 2 minutes left and give the others plenty of playing time!

The coolest thing is my mom was in from Florida and she got to see her grandson play (and play well). Well maybe the coolest thing is the team parents gave me a very generous gift and now I can buy some new tri toys. I really like coaching

Thanks Drew. Don't need the accolades but comments like this from just one parent make it all worth it:We have to thank you for all the hard work you put into the team. The boys learned so much from you and have grown so much through your teachings.
