I only missed three on my brackets yesterday, but I got slaughtered this morning - 1 out of four.  Hoping for 3/4 this afternoon to get back in the game.

I've got a Final Four of TX, CT, FL and Memphis with TX over CT in the final.  Trying to capitalize on the chance that Duke might slip up.

My team obviously lost on a last second prayer...tough way for seniors who've been through a lot to go out.

Oh well...as Oneword says, Alford will be gone, and we can start with a clean slate.

Time to drink myself to sleep tonight.

Good, now Alfraud can pack his bags for IU and let us get a decent coach. Grrr.

NO!  Say it isn't so.  I don't want the trouble that comes with him.  LET SOMEONE ELSE HAVE HIM!!!   Really, I insist.  There are 27 other vacancies he could fill very well.  No more athletic or alum donations from me until he's gone.   How about Pat Knight?!   Better yet.................

BRING BACK BOBBY!!!!!

So they lost to good teams.  Better than losing to bad teams, I guess.

Their conference schedule is a joke however.

running2far - 2006-03-17 2:02 PM zags, played memphis, ucon, wash, oSu, maryland, and mich st...actually they played a pretty tough non-conference schedule

oSu = win, Maryland = win, Mich State = win

Duke loses to unranked Georgetown, unranked Flordia State but thats ok. Duke..rank 1

LSU lost to UConn by one point earlier this year on UConn's home floor.  We'll never make it far enough to see them, but we can certainly give them and anybody a game.

Well, let's see what we can do against Duke on a relatively neutral court.

MY TEAM IS IN THE SWEET 16!!! WICHITA STATE!!! I am contemplating flying to D.C. to see the sold out game! We play George Mason, a team we played in the bracket busters... and lost to by 3 points.

Man this is awesome!

My brackets are busted thanks to Wichita State! I was leading my office pool Friday. Now I'm near the bottom.

Of course, Ohio State and Tennessee were integral parts of my demise...

I've got UCLA, Uconn, Duke, and BC in the final four. BC matches up well with Uconn I think. I do think however that Uconn will get by them and eventually beat Duke in the championship.

Wouldn't it be funny if The Shockers played Oral Roberts?!?!  Sooooo much potential for comedy...

Did you see their cheerleaders v. UT? Lots of national TV coverage of "shocking". :0

Yeah that's a VERY contraversial subject around here. Our cheerleaders flash "the shocker" at every opportunity they get, while little kids think it stands for a "w".
