Pre-race routine:

Got up, had some gatorade, got dressed. Had a piece of pound cake cuz my stomach was feeling a little weird. Could it be the 5 glasses of wine the night before????

Event warmup:

Rode my bike to the event. Otherwise, none.

Comments:

Had a good run. I didn't feel tired or out of my zone the entire time. I didn't use my MP3 player. I think that made a big difference as I really concentrated on my breathing.

What would you do differently?:

Nothing at all.

Warm down:

Had some water. Walked around a bit, waited for Terri to finish.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Nothing.

Event comments:

Race was delayed by 15 minutes because the pre-registration line and the day-of line were the same line, so the line was long. Otherwise, events were nice. Got this big electric American Flag for participating.
