Well, I have a few more weeks of indoor riding before hitting the road. I think I've seen Ironman Canada, Arizona, Kona a few to many times over the winter.

What do you watch during those 1.5 2.0 hour rides?

my little brother actually hooked me up the other day. he hooked up the original nintendo up to a TV and put it right in front of my bike on the trainer. its freaking awesome, just below me so i don't have to crank my neck to watch. i beat super mario 3 last night during my ride.

the best part is i can stay in the aero position the whole time!!!

That is pretty impressive...

I havent watched any movies yet, since the weather has been mild enough for me to get outside for most of my long rides, but I did watch a tennis match yesterday between the two Russian Marias. Very entertaining I must say.

Invest in StarChoice and a surround sound system. Or get a wireless keyboard, hook up your computer to a big screen TV and Presto! BT for the long haul.

Concert DVDs. You can alter the pace/effort with the music and cut out songs to match your workout time.

I've had a pretty good couple of years on the trainer: X-files, seasons 1 & 2, Star Trek (original series) three seasons, Battlestar Galactica Season 2, all the Star Wars films, all the Harry Potter movies, The Prisoner, and other misc. titles.

Umm.. let's see. Concert DVD's (because it has music), Robot Chicken (cus' it's fairly quick pace), Family Guy (cus' it's funny and short). I can't spin when watching dramatic movies. Took me 4 days to finish Constant Gardener.

Any HBO series "on demand"  I order up an episode of Sopranos/Six Feet Under/Entourage/Curb...and I'm good to go...Sopranos is the fav (I find I pedal faster when someone is getting whacked...don't know why.)

Any movies my wife doesn't want to watch with me (Kill Bill vol. 1 & 2), Pulp Fiction, Deliverance, The Mummy movies, etc.  I also taped a bunch of the Olympic hockey games, slowly working my way through those as well.

For that duration...Spinervals.   Have a difficult time getting a good trainer ride if I'm watching tv.   TV is good for a trainer warmup before running.
