Subject: Why I didn't run yesterday

Hope this works. Trying to upload two pics of the flash flooding here yesterday. Have another great pic of the resulting traffic jam on the main road but it's too big a file to easily resize. Torrential rains while I was coaching this PM and now it's flooding again--stuck at school for a few hours and maybe will need to swim home if rain doesn't stop soon! Thank goodness I ran this AM!

Hey you only had a few inches of water on the sidewalk, you still could of ran! Tongue out

Soo much water, that's crazy. Hopefully it doesn't get any worse...

Sidewalks in Vietnam, when they exist, are simply cement things to plant trees in (to make sure the roots push the bricks up unevenly), places to park your motorbike, and places to open up your streetside business.  Yep, my elementary swimmers discussed OWS on the school soccer field--it was knee-level.  A few went joyously wading and looked like baby water buffalos plowing the rice paddy.  Today's flood subsided in about 3 hours--home with minor splashing.
