Apr 21, Zane Grey 50, Payson, AZ (I grew up in AZ and spent summers at Camp Geronimo and hiked the Highline Trail in the early 70s.)

Lots of open dates and adventure racing after these...

Calico 50k - January

Nanny Goat 100m - May

Angeles Crest 100 - July

Javelina Jundred 101.4 - October

I have some holes to fill in there and the AC100 entry is still sittin on my desk.  Also, if a miracle happens and Silverman 140.6 comes back everything will change.

JFK 50 miler- November

April 21st - Labor of Love 50 miler - Lovell Canyon NV

Then back to Tri training for awhile IM Wisconsin Sept 9....thinking gonna be my last full distance IM

The first 4 "planned" races are ones I did this year, but it's been such an experience this year that repeating a few sounds new.

Have you done Labor of Love before?  I am interested in this one as well. 

no Labor of Love will be my first 50 miler....looking forward to it!

June - Ragnar Chicago - Ultra Team of 5 as of now - looking for runner 6

July - Dances with Dirt 50k - Devil's Lake, WI

September - North Face 50k - Eagle, WI

First year looking to experience ultras - except Ragnar. Would be doing a marathon or 50k before Ragnar in June, but I made a commitment to the team I would come to that fresh so no racing before then.

three for me:

June - Kettle Moraine 100 mile

October - Rim 2 Rim 2 Rim (group of about 9 of us heading out there to run it on the 13th.  Group run, no drop so pace will be easy), and also another possible shot at The Fall 50 - 50 miles

Hi, my name's Erik ("Hi Erik").  I did my first two ultras this past fall, and now I'm hooked.  My first was intended to be a 20-25 mile training run in a 12 hour endurance run for my first ultra (Blues Cruise 50k) a month later.  However, I ended up doing 35.  I just couldn't help myself!  Here's what I'm hoping for, but I'm also headed to the Dr tomorrow for an injury that has already laid me up for 5 weeks:

May: Dirty German 50k in Philly

August: Pacing a good friend (not really an ultra for me, but I really can't wait to help!!)

September: Labor Pains 12 hour endurance run

October: Tussey Mountainback 50 miler

That's it!  I was thinking I'd do a couple more but I don't want to be hurt and have that effect pacing in Leadville.

I did the HM at Devil's Lake this year, that is a tough course.

Also did the 50K at Eagle, not as many hills as DL but enough to keep you working.

It is Sept 17th.

It was Sept 17th, I don't see they have the dates up for next year. If they have it the same weekend the 50 should be on the 15th.

sooo....where would one troll/look for beginning ultra opportunities in New England??(besides lurking this thread lol)

Not sure what else will be on my calendar, but I just signed up for Leadville 100.  That will be my one and only 100 miler for 2012.

Will probably also do Ice Age 50 miler in May, and Kettle Moraine 100K in June.
