Subject: RE: Cold weather biking gloves and stuff So far the warmest hand solution for me has been skiing mittens. Mittens far surpass gloves and the kind for skiing are great. In fact, too warm. If you're too manly for mittens, then try a lobster claw style. Our bike shops have many options for different temps. Actually, for 30 degrees my suggestion of the ski mittens is overkill. I continue to struggle with cold feet, so good luck! Wool socks are superior, but there are many combos of toe covers, etc, to try. Up here in "real" winter conditions, i.e. below freezing and snow, I know a lot of folks with Lake winter cycling boots. Again, probably overkill, but you WILL be warm.
