Subject: PB in 10k race after brutal week So here's my weird week, I am training for an Ironman Distance race in August, but I have been feeling sick all week so I took 3 days off training, and the days that I trained I felt pretty crappy. So I went to my 10k run race today with pretty low expectations oly to come out of the race with not only a PB, but a PB by nearly 2 full minutes!!! I ended up running a 41:41 whereas my previous PB was 43:38. Anyway, I just thought that was kind of strange to follow up a bad week of training and illness with an awesome race. Anyone else ever have a bad week and then go on to have a good race? |
