I'm planning to use it this season I thought I would start January 1 and would like to hear others experiences and success stories using BT's online coaching I'm already a gold member doing an off season maint. Program.

I'll give you an additional bump.  Surely there is someone using the BT coaches.  Maybe they are all too busy training and getting all the info they need directly so they don't use the forum anymore.

I don't have any first hand experience with the new coaching model but I did work with Mike Ricci when I started in triathlon via the gold level training plan support here. In addition, I have seen Mike's contributions here and on another forum and can say he is a very knowledgable and experienced coach. I have also spoken to a few athletes who were coached by D3 over the years and all had positive things to say about Mike and his team.

So, without any personal experience with the BT online coaching in its present form, I would not hesitate to recommend Mike and his team of coaches to someone who was looking for training support. I have no doubt that if Mike is involved that it will be well run and provide excellent value for your money.

I asked a similar question 3-4 weeks ago and had no replies.  Maybe someone will send you a PM about their experience if they don't want to post here.

Keep in mind that the online coaching model for BT is very recent and it takes some time for people to be able to evaluate the effectiveness of coaching. The fact that there aren't a bunch of people posting that it was a waste of money is probably a good sign that those who have signed up are happy with what they have recieved for their money so far.

It also says that the coached BTers don't waste their days in the BT forums - they're out training

I'm seriously considering this for 2012. If I do it, I promise a nice, useful, thorough review.
