Hi there,

I am totally new to tri. For the past year I've been training for fitness and to get better at windsurfing. The past week I've been reading alot on tri and the training methods. Well well....this week I took the plunge. I just started a 12 week programme to train for a sprint tri. I'm taking the winter to get prepared since tri in canada during the winter is pretty much out of the question. As with most of what I do, I'm going at it hard...and lovin' it!

Hope to see you at the starting gate...and the finish line of a tri next summer.

just don't go at it too hard too soon. You don't want to be a november hero and race day zero. I know it's corny, but I couldn't resist

Ok ok, I've been warned.....

I completed my first week of tri training and it feels great. Just started week 2....and I'm totally hooked. I just can't wait for my first tri.
The swim and the bike parts are going quite well.....but the running will prove to be my weekness I think...well for now. But I welcom the challenge.

Happy training to all
