Assuming fit is not a problem, which of these three would you buy. A Madone 3.1, a Gianty Defy 1, or a 2010 Cervelo S1 that is on sale for 1600. I have not gotten a chance to ride any of them yet hopefully tomorrow I will be riding them and choosing one, so that is why we are ignoring fit for now. Of course if I just can't get comfortable or efficient in one I wont buy it. For now just based on frames, components, and price what would you buy.

Hmm... test riding a bike is not a good substitute for a bike fit.

As to the three options, honestly grab the one that fits (they are quite different...) and after that select the one you get the best deal on. They are all good bikes

I love cervelos every bike that are made by them are durable and work well. I would pick the cervelo.

I went with the cervelo it was the best deal and seemed the fastest/ most responsive. The madone was very comfortable and was very quick handling but seemed sluggish when putting the power down and was 200 more than the cervelo. The giant was comfortable but seemed sluggish and just ingeneral unresponsive.

P.S. I have been fitted before but the idea that someone can't fit on a bike I find very hard to believe with all the adjustments that can be made between the stem  seat and cleats aswell as frame size. Just my opinion take it or leave it.

I think that statement is pretty true for road bikes.  Much less so for TT/Tri bikes.

There's quite a difference between the bike fitting you and you making it work for you... Yes, you cab move the seat forward and get a shorter stem, but you have to realize the compromises you are making. When buying a new bike you have more than one choice, so why not make sure that it is the best possible choice for you?
