This course is the go-to course for MTBers. It's the only course that is possible to get through even through our rainy season.

Fred that's a nice set-up!!  It may not be as "plush" as some but it's the quality of the equipment that's amazing!!!  Is that a Saxo team edition of the Roubiax??

I'll try to get a picture of our cave tonight.  That's a nice setup, I would have more fans though.

Off topic but is there a reason you ride your road bike on the trainer rather than your tri bike?

Here is my wife and my workout cave.  Not really a cave as its in a bedroom with windows that open outside to let in the cold.

The view from the doorway

Our bikes - this is where most of the action happens

The treadmill that gets more use by the dogs than us.  We did a 2 hour trainer session on Saturday and each of the Australian Shepherds did an hour each on the TM.  The extension cord is to move it to another breaker in the house because it kept overloading with the treadmill, TV, fans and computer and a few other appliances in another room.....

What I stare at when riding.

How do you get dogs to walk on the treadmill?

Yeah that's beautiful, wish we had that weather

Truthfully my job is pretty busy and with family life my own little 'training cave' works better on time management than riding in the dark at 5am.

Luckily, husband and the kids join me for these rides. There are areas the kids can ride on with him, but I do need to create a cave in our little home somewhere when he deploys and will have to confine the bike training to indoors.  *sigh*

The fan I use. I don't need another, this one makes me honestly cold on high unless it's 100+ outside and the A/C is having trouble keeping up anyway.

We have a converted attic.  Most of it is playroom for the kids, but one part is my office/training room. This is the training room side.

ETA:  Just found some other pics from an earlier time (different bike).  The third one is the other side of the room ("the office"). Quality isn't great, but you get the idea.   The TV is attached to the computer, so I can watch Netflix while biking.

Not a great picture but this is our two Schnauzers on it while my wife is riding.  Those two kind of hate it so we don't put them on that much but one of the Aussies loves it - she sees us getting on the bike and she gets all excited hoping she's getting on two.  The other one is ok with it as long as she gets a cookie at the start and end.    We basically started them out on leash with lots of treats until they got the hang of it and within a few sessions the leash was off and they just go along with it.

Nice setup and nice Slice!

Wow, that's a lot of fans.

Have you ever considered an AIR KING fan. I have just the one running usually and it's more than enough.

I actually kinda like the multiple fans.  We each have one that has a remote control so we can turn it on when neccessary and have the other going.  The one right beside the window sucks in cold air from outside too.

The Slice is my wife's new toy.  She calls him Enriqué....

It's missing the 6 sets of tru trainers but the picture speaks for itself.

That's where I spend my time during these lovely Indiana winters.

That looks really nice, would you mind if I asked where it is at?

I might not have a treadmill for him but he usually paces back and forth until I'm done.

It's nice for those 4+ hour indoor sessions.
