I'm writing this report over 1 1/2 years after the event so this is gonna be pretty brief as I don't remember a lot of the details.

This first run was an eye opener to how bad the race was going to be. I was woefully unprepared for how difficult the course was.

Lack of training.

Event comments:

I was wish I was in better shape because this would've been a really challenging and fun course. Instead it totally kicked my butt because I was under trained. This might be the least prepared I've ever been for a race.
