My Daughter is going to school in Columbus and I am looking for an excuse to go visit her in late May thru early July. 

I looked in Active.com with no luck.

Check out Ohio Triple T. It's May 18-20. If you don't want to do the whole race series, you can just do the HIM on May 20th. It's called the Little Smokies Half. I did this last year and it's a beast of a course, both the bike and the run. The swim is even kind of hilly It's in Portsmouth, Ohio, which is roughly 2 hours south of Columbus. This race is hosted by HFP and you can find more info on it, as well as other races at hfpracing.com. That's the only half I know of during the date range you specified.

Thanks,  I will look into those.  Unfortunately, I saw the Tripple T already and itis the same weekend as my wife's graduation from University of San Francisco.

The Morgantown race gives Little Smokies a run for it's money as far which is a more challenging half! The run in WVa is flatter.
