Master  2946     Centennial, CO |  Subject: 5430 RideIs anyone planning to head up and ride the course sometime here in the next month? I am very unfamiliar with the area and would love to get out and ride the course a couple of times. Maybe in the next two weeks or so... (not this weekend though due to other plans.) |

I have ridden both the Boulder Peak course and the long course, and I think I have a pretty good idea where the turn off for the sprint course is. Let me know! |

Extreme Veteran 435 Aurora, CO | Subject: RE: 5430 Ride Bummer you can't make it. There is a ride planned this Saturday. We will be riding the Peak course first followed by the Sprint and then the Long course. I'm going for at least three hours and doing them in this order will allow those who don't want to go that long to bail before the Long course. It also gets Old Stage out of the way early. This is not intended to be an all out ride, just time in the saddle. The plan is to meet outside the Boulder Rez at 10:00am. We will be stopping to refuel after each course so bring plenty of food and drinks. |

Pro 4228 Broomfield, Colorado | Subject: RE: 5430 Ride I rode last year on the day of Kinetics. You cannot park at the rez....but you can ride most of the roads around Boulder. Of course, Jay and 51st are tough to navigate.....I'd avoid 51st (the road to the rez) entirely. Jay Rd. was tough b/c of all the cars turning into the rez. There was a cop at the entrance though. Or you could start at 6am |

Pro 4228 Broomfield, Colorado | Subject: RE: 5430 Ride Well I'm no good at maps BUT I can tell you how to get there: 25 north to 36 west; take 36 west to just before Boulder and exit Foothills Pkwy; Take that for several miles (?5 or so?) and then turn left onto Jay Rd at a light (there will be a brown sign pointing left for Boulder Reservoir); straight at light on other side of median, then first right onto 51st. Take that to a little entrance gate but DO NOT go through the gate, or they make you pay $6. You can park along a little gravel strip on the north side of the entrance or on a little rd on the west side of 51st. Good luck and have fun! |

I will probably still go up and ride the 5430 route (twice), but will go about 9:00. Sorry for being such a pain in the a$$. But what are you going to say to a pregnant wife other than yes dear.
