If it is not too late I would like to join in this month.

Let's see - my name is Bill and I have been around her for a while now.

Last month I was in a streak challenge that saw me miss 3 days from Thanksgiving to New Years so that was good for my base.  This month they took flex time from us at work because of busy season (now until May 1st) and I am moving my run to lunch time - so my goal for the month is:

90 miles

Can some nice BT'er please add me - they have google docs blocked at work.  I have some mileage in already for the month but not my total because that is my weekly schedule and I can update and add tonight when I get home.

Thanks for running this again and see you all around the thread!

Hi Bill Sounds like you have some challenging winter weather . Brrr

You have been added to team Chrissinator .

I normally run in the morning, but we were in the 30s with 15-25mph sustained winds (making feel like the 20s) and I don't have clothing to handle that kind of weather, so I slept in.  Loved the sleeping in part, but was a bit annoyed b/c it put me behind in my mileage.  So, after work I went for my run.  If it weren't for this challenge I probably would have blown it off, so yay for this challenge

Ann-Marie

I guess you would find me either crazy or cool - yesterdays lunch time run was 6 degrees with a 10-15 mph wind coming off of Lake Erie and some light snow showers at times.

Today is in the 20's already - I might sweat out

Even if i put on all my warm running gear, all my sweat pants and hoodies I would still not have warm enough clothes to handle that type of weather!  I do think it would be cool (ha ha) to run while it was snowing; it would just cause me to freeze into one solid block.

Ok, I want to play too!  I'm in for 50 miles this month.  Just getting back into it.  Also, if it snows, I'm going to count cross country skiing miles as "running".

Added another 5 miles today, although it was a tough 5.  Started swimming again today, 1st time in 5 months and I had forgotten how much I LOVE to swim.  I could go as far as describing it as a 200lb sinker being drug through water.

Struggled through the 5 miles, last 2 were just to keep Team Crowie moving up the ladder.

Just keep running, Just keep running, Just Keep Running

4.5 miles in the books for me.  Forgot me camera though!  My foot's acting up, so I'll be foam rolling and yoga-ing tomorrow.

Streaking, huh?  I didn't know it was that kind of challenge Wink

Macca did our local sprint race a few years back. Watched him swim and transition onto the bike. He was off and riding before the second guy was even out of the water.

Another 2.7 miles in the books.... Weird number, but I was doing intervals after a lifting workout, so I was going for time rather than a particular distance!
