Subject: Trek SPEED CONCEPT 7 Full Sram Force, Powertap, Zipp

I am itching to buy a new bike so I am selling my current ride. This is a 2011 Trek Speed Concept 7.0 that has been upgraded to full Sram FORCE drivetrain. The bike has about 1500 miles on it, one half ironman and one full Ironman. It has the normal scratch here and there but nothing to worry about. Here is a list of the upgrages and options:

2011 Trek Speed Concept 7.0 size medium (should be good for someone 5'7-6'0 but fit is up to you)
Trek Draft Box $100
Trek Speed Box $50
Sram Force Crank $400
Sram Force Rear Derailluer $180
Sram Force front derailluer $100
TRP center pull front brake $200
Profile Design CBX Pro carbon bars $250

For the full asking price I will include:

ISM Adam Century $110 (I will subtract $50 if you don't want this saddle, only the stock saddle)
Mavic Open Pro with ANT+ SL+ Powertap with a Wheelbuilder.com disc cover (subtract $600 if you don't want the Powertap wheel that has LYC and all original accessories).
Zipp 404 non-dimpled but perfect front wheel (subtract $300 if you don't want the Zipp)
Look Keo pedals (cleats are pretty worn but if you want them you can have them too. Subtract $40 if you don't want these)
Bontrager Aero bottle (subtract $30 if you don't want this)
Conti GP4000 tires with less than 200 miles come with the Zipp and/or the Mavic Open Pro.

The stock Shimano R500 wheelset with factory tires come with the bike either way as well as the stock Bontrager bull horns, alloy extensions and stock saddle.

I will accept Paypal and I will deliver anywhere in the greater STL metro area for free. I will have the bike boxed and shipped anywhere in the lower 48 states for full asking price. Anything less or without any of the options above we can discuss shipping costs but your share will not exceed $100.00.

Full asking price shipped anywhere in the lower 48 states is $3200.00.

I am going to sweeten the deal by throwing in a new (take off) set of 3T Aerus carbon aero bars with S bend alloy 3T extensions.

Dang, that's a lot of bike for what you're asking. If it were a small and I hadn't ordered a bike already, I would have definitely gotten this!

Free bump.

Ya, I am the type of person that when I want something I will cut my losses to get it. I am losing a bunch of $$$ on this but it served it's purpose well for IMFL. Now I want a great aero road bike do serve as dual purpose. I have a Litespeed Archon C1 in lay away.

Is the Sram Force a notch above the Sram Red?  I've been looking around at bikes, the speed concept being one of them, this one's pretty sweet.  Another dumb question, what is the advantage of the center pull front brake, is that so you can stay aero while braking?

Sram Force is actually one step below Red. Red is the top of the line. The center pull brake is just a little more aerodynamic than the standard brake. But it looks WAAAAYYY cooler. The Speed Concept is a great bike. I just decided to go with an aero road bike as a dual purpose.
