Subject: 2 days off before 1st HM? Hello everyone! I'm about to wrap up my taper week before my first half marathon race this coming Sunday. I ran 4 miles on Tuesday, 6 Wednesday, and 4 today. I was thinking of running 3 tomorrow (after work) and taking Saturday off. My legs feel fine, however, my right foot's arch has a tad bit of soreness right now but nothing as bad as what happened to me a month ago. I'll give it a good deep 5 minute ice massage before I go to sleep tonight. Would it be better that I take tomorrow and Saturday off? Or should I get that short run in to keep my legs tuned up before race day? |
