Nationals are coming to Mercer Island!!!  Great way to practice open water, and transition runs.... And watch the best of the best in the US at the same time.

Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with this, but know the RD and he puts on great races at a more than fair price.

Thanks for the link.  I read through the info and started getting pretty excited about it as I was looking for something a little different to do this year but realized I may be at Vineman that day.

This is very similar to the first multi-sport race I did at Greenlake over 30 years ago.  Would be a fun event.

This is very similar to the first multi-sport race I did at Greenlake over 30 years ago.  Would be a fun event.  

 

RD is surprised.  He said so far he has more people signed up from other states than he does Wa.

It's a tough time of year with being in the heart of the season.  There are a lot of race options within a few weeks.

I turned 50 several months ago.  Wish I was 35

I turned 50 several months ago.  Wish I was 35
