I'm in!!

(Ok, so does anyone have any guess as to the difference in Men's Medium and Men's Large for short/shirt sizes?  Anyone have inside info on who might be the manufacturer for the swag so I could look up a sizing chart?)

I'm in too -  It's gonna be a blast with all these BTers going!

Will this race be different? Will they actually have a small race shirt, instead of just teasing me with that option during sign up?

And what's the swim like? Is it in a lake?

That's a good sign that they wanted sizes for everything but our shoes... should mean lots of good stuff in the race packet!

Great race packet, very warm lake water, beautiful rolling hills bike course, partially shaded run course (although always hot and humid), finish on the sandy beach and, oh yeah, COLD BEER!

Look forward to seeing everyone!

We thought about leaving the wedding and driving all night to Shreveport but then we'd both have bad races and it would be too exhausting. Sorry, there is a line somewhere and I think TX→Baton Rouge→Shreveport→TX is it.

Anyone interested in sharing a room?

I'm looking at getting one at the Ramada.  I considered the Day's Inn that Bear found, but the person I'm carpooling with will be staying at the Ramada, and it's not convenient to be shuttling back and forth.  (But I can't split a room with her.)
