Just want to say hi, I'm new to the area and looking for training partners,  I've done a few races but it's better with a friend.  Hit me up of your in the area. 

I was a collegiate swimmer if anyone needs a pointer,

Welcome, I'm down in the Charleston area, alot of good races in SC/GA look up Setup events they have a triathlon series in SC and GA

yea i've signed up for three races already this spring.  go big or go home. Once i get a better feel for my training regime i'm going to pick a few more races.  Any must do races in charleston or savanah ga. both places would make a nice weekend trip for me.

Cooper River Bridge Run is a big race, 10k first weekend in April, never ran it since I have to work it but 40k participants can't be wrong!

Tri wise we have a HIM in late April, 21st this year, my first at that distance, and a local sprint series independant from Setup events.

There is a late september Oly on Kiawah which is fun but so-so on organization and 2 marathons in Dec/Jan, Kiawah Marathon in Dec and Charleston Marathon in January, both BQ races.

 

I don't know much about Savannah but I do know they have a Rock and Roll Marathon in November, 2011 was 1st year.
