Subject: Just signed up for Marquee HIM, Tempe
Well, I just signed up for the Tempe Marquee HIM.  This will be the second triathlon, but the first HIM. I'm already nervous.  I've been training for it, so hope I'm prepared.

Awesome! Have fun! I was signed up for it but won't be ready for it. Down graded to the Oylmpic. I am excited to get onto the same course and get a feel for the Tempe area.

Red Rock still has the bike course as "coming soon", which concerns me that it will not be like last year (mirroring the majority of IM AZ course).  Due to traffic restrictions they could be forced to change the Marquee bike course to something like SOMA, which would not be bad, but it was cool last year to run the IM AZ course in early April.

Regardless, provided the rain does not force a duathlon again (unlikely), Marquee will be an awesome early-season tri.  I am definitely there.

Thanks, I most nervous about the swimming, since I don't get much training at all.  We don't have a pool, public or private, that is open year round here in Ajo.  I have to go to Phoenix, and that happens maybe once or twice per month. Last friday, I did my first swim since the November Amica sprint.

Signed up for it and excited to do as my second HIM!
Was a bit frustrated with the bike course at SOMA, so was hoping that it would be like last year. If not, so be it but that would be SO NICE to not have to bike circles around Tempe as usual!

Looking forward to a cooler run compared to SOMA (95 degrees) but the water and air temp in the morning will be drastically cooler...need to get ready for that!

Otherwise, the training is right on target and hope to PR!!!
