The Cannondale geometry would fit me.  Which one would fit you?

I would choose the Felt B16 for the same reason.  Perfect fit for me.

Totally fit based. Geometry of the Slice in particular absolutely didn't work for me, personally. I like Giant bikes in general, and I've only sat on a B16 on a trainer for maybe 5 minutes, didn't have the pleasure of taking it out for a ride, but it seemed fine.

Three people, three different answers.

I ride an older giant trinity and love it. The fit was perfect for me. I tried some of the others and it just seemed we were doing a whole lot of extra to make the frame fit. For the giant, it was a pretty simple fit right out of the box.

My question is, why are you asking?  If you've looked here at all, you know these questions are always answered "the one that fits you best".  Give us more info on what you're looking for.

I'd be chatting with your fitter again.

Not sure about Giant's geometry, but Felt geometry is very different from Cannondale's Slice.  The Slice has lots of stack relative to the reach, and generally fits leggy people.  Felt is for lucky people with "normal" proportions.

My fitter told me he 'could' fit me to a Felt, too... but I would be on a 56cm Felt with an unbelievable amount of spacers.  I'm on a new 60cm Slice instead that fits with minimal adjustments.

Well, for the giant & felt, I would be 58cm, and the slice 60cm - I was fitted on a computerized self adjusting device made by guru

Did they give you your stack and reach from the GURU fit, or any other data?  I had a GURU fit too, but ultimately didn't like the fitter and decided to get a second opinion.

Bike Size (Stack/Reach)
Cannondale Slice 60cm (572/425)
Felt B2-B16 58cm (545/450)
Giant Trinity Large (548/449)

Someone more skilled in the ways of fitting may chime in and correct me, but one of the bikes they say you fit will require more adjustments/spacers/etc. to make it ideal for you than the others.

A side question - I am being charged 200$ for the fitting - which is returned if I buy a bike there... was I screwed?

I don't think you are being screwed.  That is the same deal I paid for just two weeks ago on a GURU fit machine with a well qualified fitter.  I did wind up buying the bike from the shop, and had the $200 taken off the overall price.  I was recommended the same bikes you were.  With different sizes for Felt, vice Giant and Slice.  Of the three, I would go with the Slice.  YMMV.

If you do like the Giant Trinity I have a large 2011 with 550 miles on it for sale. I could save you some money .

I too looked at a Felt B16 and Slice.  The Slice fits better without many adjustments.  Same price for both.  Slice comes with 105 while the Felt has Ultegra.  Am I too hung up on components?  I currently ride a Cervelo S1 w/ Ultegra but not sure I would notice the difference (starting 3rd year of tris, front of the BOP).

I know how you feel, and I think you're getting too hung up on components.  Many people say that after 105, there's little difference in the shifting mechanics of going to Ultegra or DA.  It's mostly weight-savings.

My road bike is a Trek with all Ultegra and carbon cranks, and I felt the same way before picking up my Slice.  I very badly wanted a Felt, but the Slice was the best fit for me.  I ultimately decided to go with the bike that fit me the best with minimal adjustments.  Good luck!

IF everything fit the exact same, I would base the bike on looks/colour scheme.

If you hate the way the bike looks, why would you want to me seen riding on it. Tongue out

I would choose the Cannondale Slice.  Not a fan of the B16 (too much white for 2012).

ok, considering all 3 above are going for 2g$... it seems this one destroys them all

Can you fit a Kestral?

That's a different style and shape of bike, but if it FITS then you should be okay.

The best thing you could do is go back to the shop, have him take the measurement from the GURU machine, put them on one of the 3 bikes. Take it for a ride. See what you think.

Repeat.

Find the one that you're more comfortable on.
