I found 2 x Continental Grand Prix 4000s for $85? Does this look like a good deal? Do these have a good shelf life when not used? Please let me know. Thanks! =) |

The absolute cheapest I've seen them is on clearance at Sierra Trading Post last year. They were $36 each. I bought 4 tires, I should have bought 12.. And yes...they hold up in storage. |

This is excellent thanks! I have a question though, why buy more than 2? Or even 4? Do these clinchers require frequent replacement? What's the average mileage one can get using these on pretty good road conditions? |

They are still pretty round, I expect to get many more miles out of them. I bought mine on amazon a while back for $36 or $38 each. |
