Mt. Mitchell opens today for general registration.  Anyone in?  After last year, can't believe I'm stupid enough to register again...

The last 3 years I did this. But I was dumb enough to drive the family up to the top from Marion while on a trip to Asheville. I'll not be assaulting this year. Ready to go again in 2013 though !

Funny stuff - did the same thing last summer.  While on the ride up, my wife wondered aloud why anyone would be crazy enough to do it on a bike.
