I already have a garmin 301, old but in great condition and works perfectly.  I would really like to track my cadence on my bike, distance and cadence in spin class, and cadence/distance on treadmill workouts.  I don't want to buy a new garmin or similar device if possible.  I also have  an iphone.

What is the easiest/cheapest way for me to get more data with the tools I've got??

Hi - I cant find reference to the 301 - do you mean the 310 or 305? if it is one of those the bike cadence sensor will track bike workouts outdoors only. the foot pod will track running cadence indoors and out. Both pieces of kit are pricey. Perhaps decide which piece of data is most important and buy that first. Mark.

No, it's a 301, discontinued now so I don't think any of the accessories will work with it.

I was hoping there was something I could use with my iphone if nothing else but it looks like I'll just have to put it on hold until I can buy a new unit.  Thanks!

Just for the record ... I can use my Garmin speed/cadence sensor for cadence work indoors with my 305. The speed won't be accurate. But I don't ... TrainerRoad gives me all the data I need.
