Subject: Groupset question

I fee like I know this, just want to double check.  I have been riding for several years and all of my bike have had Shimano grupset.  My bike I have ordered will be a Sram Rival.  If i want to get new wheels for it, I will have to get a Campy hub, right. Or do I not have a clue?

Thanks

ROY

No, A Campy hub only works with campy.  SRAM/Shimano are compatible.  You will not need to buy anything different.

Nope, SRAM and Shimano are compatible, Campy is not.  The freehub for a Sram/Shimano cassette will not work with a Campy cassette.  I have heard however and I have never tried it, that the gear spacing is close enough between Shimano/Sram 10-speed and Campy 10-speed that you can use a campy cassette with a Shimano or Sram drive-train.  I wouldn't do it though because there is no reason to.  And anything less than 10-speed I don't think its close enough to shift right.
