Longer than 90 min I might make my route go by a drug store to get some water and a gel. I have a Camelbak that I race with for ultras, but haven't used it much for my training runs. I've thought about handhelds but I don't really like anything in my hands when running. I may have to check one out just to see how it feels though. I didn't think I'd like them either, but I bought them prior to my injury when I was anticipating training for a Grand Canyon R2R2R this spring. I knew I'd need the hydration vest and then some. I use the Ultimate Direction and am surprised by how much I don't even think about them. The band that holds them in place allows me to relax my hand, so it's not like I'm even really holding on to them. I can carry a camera in the pouch or up to 3 gels. Edit to Add: Wow ... that's a great price on that bottle. Edited by BernardDogs 2012-02-26 4:19 PM
