Has anyone here ever had problems with there sesamoid bones?  What was the prognosis?  How long did it keep you down for?  What was your rehab?  I just found out today that I might have fractured mine and am looking for any infromation.

A friend of my fractured his doing off-road unicycling. no joke. He was down for a long time, and is still down, but the divorce may have had something to do with it as well.

Which sesamoid bone is it?  I'm assuming the one in the foot.  they usually put you in a walking boot for 4-8 wks.  recovery is just like any other bone fracture.  If there is a large amount of seperation between the two pieces, surgery may be required.

Yea, it's the one in my left foot.  This is driving me nuts.  I've been training so hard since January and now it seems as if all of it has been for not.
