Subject: How to convert a PDF to a JPEG?

I don't know if any of you remember I was trying to learn how to create an ad for my daughter's yearbook a while back.  I just did a quick photo collage type one on Power Point, but is not uploading correctly onto the yearbook website because of the low resolution I think.  I saved it in PDF format and now need to convert it to JPEG.  I downloaded something from CNET called Office Convert.  It worked for a bunch of other ads (it even worked for my practice ad), but now it wont work for my final version.

Do you guys know any other ways to convert the PDF to JPEG?  Or how to make a Powerpoint become a JPEG with higher resolution?

Thank you!!

Ghetto option:

Print Screen -> paste in Paint -> Crop -> save as .jpg

I tried to save straight from Adobe but my only options are Save as Text and Save a Copy.  I just went in and tried to highlight the whole slide in Powerpoint, but it will only let me pick one object at a time.  Even when I did select all it only highlighted the pictures and text, not the whole thing as one.

Any more help?  I knew I should have paid the $40 for Kinkos to do this for me!

maybe - but it's quick, cheap and works - it seemed to fit the bill.

did you have a better option or just insults today?

...???

Ghetto = not great resolution, not the best method...

I thought she just didn't see that you had already posted that.  I tried it that way and it made the JPEG only 185 Kb which is too small.  It is the same as when I save it as a JPEG directly from Powerpoint.

For some reason with the other people's tributes I was able to save as a PDF then convert to a JPEG, it was the only mine that wouldn't work!

Thanks STG - I will take you up on that!  I tried to download the free trial of Photoshop just for this but never figured it out.  (you can see I don't know what I am doing on my computer)  Just don't laugh at how simple the ad is, I just threw it together and put in all of the pictures she picked.

Sorry. I mean to use the "Print Screen" option on your keyboard. You lose resolution in the process, but it can work. Different than trying to copy the image...

And it obviously didn't give you the resolution you wanted...
