Subject: Wetsuit rental central florida?

Can anyone recommend a place to get a rental wetsuit in central florida?

Ive just got back in central florida and am doing the HITS Ocala half on the 25th. Looking to get one by early next week so I can get a few practice swims in.

You can buy a decent wetsuit for fairly cheap. For me, the thought of wearing someone elses wetsuit is kinda nasty. People sweat, pee and who knows what else in those things.

I've had good luck with wetsuitrental.com. They're about $40 or so. They ship it to you a few days before your race and then you have a week or so to send it back. Also, if you like it they'll let you buy it minus what your rental fee was.

I was swimming in the HITS lake this morning and the water was not very cold. I wore my wetsuit and was pretty warm. I may go without my wetsuit next weekend.

Bill, do you have a rough idea of the temperature at the moment? I heard (months ago) they were expecting the temp to be low/mid 60s but its feeling pretty hot for this time of year so Im hoping its in the 70s, in which case I would go without a wetsuit aswell.
