Good morning!

5:15am:  5 mile run.  Winter has come back to the desert...booo!  Even boo-ier, my daughter has a softball tournament starting tonight--it's going to be cold and windy where we're heading.  Pulling out all the winter gear again!

Have a great day and good luck weekend racers!

Have a great day everyone.

Yep, not just Good Friday ... fantastic Friday

My training today consisted of eating (yet more) chips & gravy, and a long late afternoon nap with the Furry Family. Just what the doctor ordered! (Okay, maybe not the chips and gravy ... )

20 miles in a spin class this morning, first one I have ever done.  Felt great!  Still a little to cold for me to be on a bike outside.

Swimming this morning and soccer games this afternoon.     Signed up yesterday for an Olympic on May 5th.    Time to get serious.   Or for me, as serious as can be.

Hitting the bike tonight, first anything since Sunday. The wind it is a blowing' and the direction will make for a not so nice training partner.

Enjoy the weekend.

Finish cleaning and cooking for Passover, then get the bike set up for this weekend's race. I'll do about half an hour ride and a short run just to make sure everything works, then it's family time.

In the meantime emptying the fridge by eating everything not kosher for Passover before the holiday starts!

Lunch run, then really need to reintroduce myself to the pool this afternoon.  Running and bike have gone really good this spring, the pool, not so much.

Hi, Kim! I miss you!

As for me, a 1.5 mile run with the boy who is training for a couple multi sport events in the next couple months followed by a beach season to cool off.

Also got my p90x on for the day. Kids back to school Monday so I'll be back to running and swimming again. Yay!

Swam 3200 yards this morning and the group we swim with pushed each other well. Going for a bike ride this afternoon after the lawn gets mowed. Bricks are on the schedule for tomorrow morning...eek!

Did a test ride to work and back this morning, its 25Km spot on door to door round trip . I can do all but 1.5 Km on  closed multiuse pathway that for the most part is fair to excellent condition, there are some sections that are a bit rough.

It takes me 22 to 25 minutes to drive it in the morning in my car. MY trip there this morning was 24 minutes, and 27 minutes on the return ride because of increased bike, stroller and runner traffic . So it looks like as soon as the weather warms I can do that ride maybe 3 or 4 time a week plus add my regular lunch run or swim to the mix, that should be awesome. there is a 15mph max on the path and I averaged right around 15.5 for the round trip and I was just crusing it for the most part.

Hi everyone!  Good Friday public holiday here so I got to sleep in and head out for a 2hr bike ride.  Loads and loads of hills ... that was the goal today.  If I can finish the cleaning soon I might head of for a quick 6K run this evening.

Greetings!  Did some SS intervals on the trainer along with some EM for 45 minutes.  Short recovery run after work (if legs feel up to it ofc =) ) and a ~2500 yard swim at the pool a couple hours after. ^_^

20 minute run this morning. Toooooo many errands to run today, couldn't take my little guy out in the Chariot. So far I've been rockin' the run and swim training, and totally sucking at the bike. It's going to show. Gotta get busy!

4ish miles early this morning. Definitely still feeling the HM from 2 weeks ago.

1100 yard swim (pull). I had intended on swimming 2k, but I got some major cramping in my legs and didn't want to keep pushing. I've been finding myself doing straight pull buoy swims recently to focus purely on upper body since my primary race this will be a wetsuit legal race and I have limited time to focus on swim. After my HIM, I'm going to take some TI swim classes to develop a much better understanding of body position and swimming. I did swim 1:42/100's for the first 1000 with just pull.
