Pre-race routine:

Banana, Gatorade and coffee for breakfast. Had GU Roctane and bottle of water 15 minutes before start.

Comments:

Very challenging course, espcially if you haven't been training on trails. Hard to maintain pace when dodging rocks and mud holes.

Well organized and supported. Trails were well marked. Normally, one water station is more than enough for a 10k, but with the warm temperature and difficult nature of the course, I could have used a couple of more cups of water.
