Subject: Garmin 910XT Multisport Mode

Did a sprint turned duathlon last weekend.  Very little experience with the watch.  Typically ride with the Edge 500.  Figured out the multisport mode, but got really little data.  Didn't get any cadence information.  
Still looking through the manuals, but any suggestions or comments?

Was thinking of leaving my Edge on my bike and using that to get my data as needed.

I get cadence and and all the same data in multi sport mode as I do when it is in just single sport mode.

What accessories do you have paired to the watch? Power meter, foot pod or speed/cadence sensor?

foot pod, speed / cadence sensor and heart rate monitor.

probably set something up incorrectly.

Did you set up the sports in advance?

Did you set it up to the right sports?  Also did you have the transition mode set on?

You might have left the watch in the transition mode or been the wrong sport.

i did all three sports and set to add the transitions.

going to have to go through it and finagle with it.

can't see it here online as the garmin training center, but here is the data from that day:

Ok,

It shows the entire race as running.

1 of 2 things that could have happened.

1) You set it to multisport mode then started, stopped it, and it moved back to single sport mode.
2) You didn't hit the lab button between sports.

Call Garmin customer service. At the best they can help you figure out what went wrong so you can correct it, and they can often fix the file for you. At worst, you've uncovered another Garmin connect bug. http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/forums/thread-view.asp... When you call, let them know that you're having an issue with the 910xt and multisport mode, and you may need the outdoor help desk. If they act confused, you need tech support's tech support. Those are the guys that may be able to fix the file. Just my own experience. Some great guys there.
